Hello! I am a PhD student at University of California, Santa Cruz. I strive to understand humans, behaviors, and their relationships to technology to understand and create news ways for how we can design for improvement, alignment, empowerment, and so on. please explore some of my selected projects below!
We ran a conduct a 4-stage collaborative design process to generate considerations for design approaches and reflect the needs of low graph literacy and comprehension.
As part of the 2020 HCDE senior capstone, I worked in a team of four students for 20 weeks evaluate, research, and redesign Canvas for to optimize online learning.
I created an add-on for PyCharm, a python based IDE to create a more accessible environment for users with visual impairments. This project was driven by a 2017 study that interviews software developers with visual impairments.
